KDE Plasma 6.7 beta has arrived this week, packing last-minute enhancements that promise to elevate the remote desktop experience and notification system for users of the popular Linux desktop environment.
The built-in remote desktop server receives significant performance and compatibility improvements, while Plasma notifications gain visual and functional upgrades. These changes were finalized just before the beta cutoff, according to KDE developers.
Remote Desktop Server Overhaul
The remote desktop server, which allows users to access their Plasma desktop from other devices, now supports better frame rates and lower latency.
